Hello everybody!
Well today is a great day dedicated to hard working people
that need a rest and really lazy people that love having a break to catch a
good sleep between work or other activities
Here are some ways in which you can celebrate this day!
Casual- take a good nap on you house or wherever you can, it
can be on the break hour of your break, but remember: set an alarm if you are
at work! We don’t want problems
Committed- explain to friends and co-workers that today is
napping day and take a nice nap wherever you are.
Hard-Core- invite people on the afternoon to your house so
all of you can nap together and you can put nice music that will help you sleep
or a movie depending on the people that are attending and their mood.
Color challenge
Today’s color challenge is “feel healthy” wearing jungle
green, you know the best foods for you are green so we chose jungle green as a
great example to feel healthy, so go out there with a great mood wearing your
shirt, pants or whatever you want with the color jungle green!
Moody Monday movement presents today’s recipe
Roasted New Potatoes and Asparagus
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus, with thick stalks, ends trimmed, cut in 1 1/2 – 2 inch pieces
- 1-2 pounds new potatoes, cut in half or thirds (the larger ones)
- olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning, crushed between fingertips
- sea or kosher salt and fresh black pepper
- 1-2 tablespoons fresh basil or parsley, chopped
- fresh grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In an extra large mixing bowl
toss the asparagus, potatoes, 2-3 tablespoons olive oil, garlic, Italian
seasoning and plenty of salt and pepper together. Alternately you can use your
hands to massage the oil and seasonings into the vegetables.
Grease a roasting pan, casserole dish or sheet pan. Roast
vegetables about 35-45 minutes until potatoes are tender. Garnish with fresh
herbs. Serve with Parmesan cheese.

ResponderEliminarThe fun challenge is very creative, I can't believe there's a day for napping, I would do the hard-core part, no doubt.
I don't like color green very much, but the challenge looks good so I would try it
The recipe looks yummy, it made me want to eat it right away so, when I get home, I'm trying it.
I really like your posts, keep doing them!
